DESCRIBE, FOR OUR LISTENERS, SOMETHING THAT YOU ARE PROUD OF?

I NEVER dreamed I would own my own business. Never even wanted to. Didn’t want to fool with all the business end of things. Didn’t know how. All the reasons. But I find I’m the best boss I ever had. And I’ve had some really good bosses (and some really bad ones).

Actually, I have as much gratitude for the bad bosses because they’re the reason I now own my own business. And if you back it up a decade or so, they’re the reason I left a very lucrative career as an architect to follow my passion and become a massage therapist. They’re the

<cont.> reason I have (rent) my very own office space where I’ve created a beautiful beach scheme for my clients and myself to enjoy.

I’m very proud of my beautiful office and my beautiful massage practice and the beautiful clients that come let me help them take care of themselves.

WHAT’S YOUR MASSAGE ADVICE, FOR OUR LISTENERS?

Get to the root of your discomfort.

It might be mental stress you’re needlessly carrying (whether you believe that or not). It might be the way you sleep or sit or carry yourself. It might be an imbalance of strength or flexibility across a particular joint. Heck, it might even be your feet! (Are you pronating? Do you need custom orthothics?) A good massage can be a wonderful re-boot to your body, but you have to take care of it the rest of the month between your regular maintenance massages. Good self-care is key. Look at it this way. You go to the Dentist for a good cleaning, but you still have to brush and floss every day.
